The Friends of Silvermine Flora Documentation Group have produced a DVD and an APP (for iPhone and Android) called FloraDoc, which is a database of the flora of the Cape Peninsula with descriptions and colour images of plants photographed on the Peninsula. Buy the app from Appstore or PlayStore on your phone. The DVD is R140 and the App is R269.99. Profits will go towards FOSNA’s conservation projects.
The Friends have also published a dictionary of botanical names that explains the Greek and Latin names of our plants which sells for R70.
